With heartfelt gratitude, we announce the upcoming departure of Mitch Doyle, who has been a valued member of the Community Foundation team since 2023.

Mitch joined CFHZ as part of our Scholarship team, walking alongside students who received the Holland/Zeeland Promise scholarship as they navigated the challenges and opportunities of college life. His dedication extended beyond direct student support, as he also served as staff support to the Promise nomination and selection process and helped expand the reach of our general scholarships. He was a staff advisor to our Youth Advisory Committee, where he inspired and nurtured student leaders as they gave back to the community through volunteering and reviewing and recommending grants to support youth-focused projects in Holland/Zeeland. In recent months, Mitch transitioned to working with our Community Impact team to increase the capacity of our grants program, bringing his same commitment to excellence and care to this expanded role.

Mitch’s personable professionalism and deep care for everyone he interacts with, from students and families to nonprofit partners and colleagues, has made a lasting impression and he will be greatly missed. Mitch is departing from CFHZ to pursue his dream of a career in medicine – a path that will benefit greatly from his compassion and dedication. We’ll be cheering him on as he takes these next steps in his professional career!
