The Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area’s Board of Trustees recently elected three new members. Tim Hemingway, Micki Janssen, and Rogen McLean were all elected during the Board’s 2023 annual meeting.
Tim Hemingway is a long-time resident of the Holland area. He worked for SAF Holland for 31 years in various executive leadership roles. Tim has served on numerous local boards including Holland BPW, Boys and Girls Club, and Holland Aquatic Center to name a few. Tim and his wife Anne have been generous supporters of our Community’s Endowment and were co-founders of the Holland/Zeeland Promise.
Micki Janssen was born and raised in Zeeland where her family owned and operated Janssen Farms. She served as an elementary school teacher for 32 years and has been engaged in the community having served on the Boards of Resthaven and Outdoor Discovery Center. Micki has served on CFHZ’s Development Committee for the last three years, is a Bridge Builder, a Fund Holder, and generously supports CFHZ.
Rogen McLean will serve a one-year term as Youth Trustee. She is a current junior, will be a senior this fall at West Ottawa High School. She has been serving on Youth Advisory Council since her sophomore year. Along with YAC, Rogen plays Varsity Soccer and Swimming, and is on Ski Club in the winter. She also enjoys coaching swim lessons and volunteering through the National Honor Society.
