At CFHZ, we bring together the distinct communities of Holland and Zeeland under a shared belief: that when we pool our resources, relationships, and expertise, we can achieve far more for the causes we care about and create a thriving community for all.
That belief has guided us since our founding in 1951. As we enter our 75th anniversary year, we’re excited to introduce a refreshed visual identity that better reflects who we are today and the future we are building together.

Our new logo tells the story of partnership and growth. Its interlacing lines represent the collaboration and connection between Zeeland and Holland, and the nonprofits, donors, and partners who share our commitment to a thriving community for all. It reflects a community rooted in deep generosity, actively investing in today and building a more connected tomorrow. Every distinct element retains its unique value while contributing to something stronger together, a visual representation of how community foundations work.
For more than 15 years, our previous brand served us well. But as our organization has grown, and as we mark three-quarters of a century of service, we recognized it was time for our brand to better reflect our impact. Here’s what drove this decision:
- Accessibility. Our previous color palette made text difficult to read in both print and digital formats. Accessibility matters, not just in how we serve our community, but in how we communicate with you.
- Alignment. Thanks to decades of strong leadership and community trust, CFHZ is a vibrant, flourishing organization. Our visual identity needed to match that energy and momentum.
- Growth. This refresh reflects the organic growth of CFHZ over the past several decades and our intention to present a brand that matches the reach, impact, and responsibility of our work, now and in the future.
We partnered with Reagan Marketing + Design on the creation of a new logo, refreshed color palette, and updated typeface. Input from our staff, Board of Trustees, and community members who served on our Brand Refresh Committee helped steer the design direction.
We’re grateful for your partnership as we step into this next chapter! As we celebrate 75 years of impact and introduce our new brand, we’re energized about the future we’re building together – today, tomorrow, and forever.
