We know local issues. We bring together agencies and groups for positive action. We are trusted partners in philanthropy with donors, advisors and charitable organizations who serve our Holland/Zeeland community and invest in its future.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make the greater Holland/Zeeland area a better place to live and work by enhancing the quality of life for all its citizens.
Our Areas of Interest
Our areas of interest are education, arts and culture, health, social services, the environment, recreation, community development and the needs of the youth and the elderly in our community.
Our Grants
Our grants are focused on capital projects and new, creative endeavors. We monitor the ever-changing needs and respond in ways that take advantage of opportunities to make the greatest impact.
Our History
Established in 1951, we are a 501(c)(3) dedicated to connecting community needs with the people and resources who can best meet them. We were founded as a vehicle that makes lasting, positive change in our community while maximizing donor tax benefits. We have become stewards of over 400 funds entrusted to us by a diverse group of individuals, businesses and organizations.
Our Management
We professionally manage funds to protect and grow principal while maximizing income. We use this income to enhance quality of life in our community in ways that are compatible with donor wishes and Community Foundation goals.
